On the morning of June 4, a delegation headed by CMEC President Han Xiaojun and Vice President Fan Rong visited Chinese Ambassador to Argentina Zhou Xiaoli. Han gave an introduction to the history and current situation of CMEC, implementation of the Argentina Railway Project and its supplementary agreement, as well as the new transportation and electric projects of CMEC in Argentina. Han said that CMEC attaches great importance to the development prospects in the Argentine market, is willing to take root in Argentina, make more investments and carry out more infrastructure construction projects in the country.

Zhou expressed his warm welcome to the delegation and appreciated CMEC for its Argentine Railway Project that greatly promotes social and economic development of Argentina as well as the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. Zou gave guidance and made suggestions on the business development of CMEC in Argentina. Meanwhile, the two sides made deep discussions on how the subsidiary of CMEC in Argentina perform its corporate social responsibilities, gives publicity to the Argentine Railway Project and overseas Party building of central enterprise.

Also present at the meeting were leaders including Chinese Commercial Counselor to Argentina Xia Diya.
