The waste-to-energy project in North Dhaka developed by CMEC under the investment-construction-operation model has a daily processing capacity of 3,000 tons of domestic waste. After completion, it is expected to become the largest waste-to-energy project in South Asia. After the project is put into operation, it will not only solve the domestic waste disposal problem of 6 million people in North Dhaka City, but also meet the electricity demand of approximately 1.1 million people and bring benefits to the local people's livelihood.
