Recently, the first hoisting operation of the reformer of the 20,000-ton/year coke oven gas hydrogen production project in Pengwan Hydrogen Port, which was constructed by CMEC, was successfully completed.

The reformer is 20 meters high, 3.1 meters in diameter and 97.5 tons in weight. It is the largest single-weight equipment of the project. In order to complete the hoisting work of this equipment safely and efficiently, the CMEC project department carefully prepared the hoisting plan in the early stage and conducted multi-party demonstrations. Finally, a 650-ton truck crane was used as the main crane and a 130-ton truck crane was used for hoisting.

Under the joint witness of the owner and the supervisor, the entire hoisting process took only 20 minutes to achieve a hoisting and in place. The successful placement of the reformer marks the completion of all static equipments of the Pengwan Hydrogen Port Project, which lays a solid foundation for the successful implementation of the project in the new year and lays a solid foundation for the smooth completion and handover of the project.

The 20,000-ton/year coke oven gas hydrogen production project of Pengwan Hydrogen Port will start construction in April 2021. It is a "three batches" key project in Shanxi Province in 2021, and it is also the first hydrogen energy project signed by CMEC.

Although it is the middle of winter, the project progress is still in full swing. All the staff of the CMEC project department will, as always, stick to their posts and ensure that the project progresses steadily according to the predetermined plan.
