This project is the largest power project in Iraq. The commissioning of Unit 1 has greatly solved the problem of local electricity shortage in Iraq and won high praise from the owner. CMEC will summarize the valuable experience of Unit 1, and strive to realize the early power generation and smooth handover of Unit 2 as soon as possible, so that the Iraqi Salahaddin Power Plant Project will become a monument of China-Iraq cooperation under the “Belt and Road” initiative.
